Little help with wiring?

Hey guys this is gonna be my set up:

-1 10" type R, powered with an alpine pdx1.1000

-Image Dynamics 6.5" Component Speaker System for the fronts, powered with jl audio 300/2

Now this is where im a little confused.....do i go 8 gauge or 12 gauge to power this?

o and also purchased a distro btw

edit: how much extra of the 4 gauge and 8 should i need?

I would make it 4 gauge wire to the amp just in case you want to run 2 amps in the future.

id buy extra. its always nice to have extra vs waiting a week while more is shipped in. i mean 5 ft isnt even expensive at all
