Blaupunkt Amp Wiring Harness Adapter

I am looking to buy a Blaupunkt THA555PnP amp which, for my car -a 2008 VW GTI - requires a specific wiring harness if I want to utilize the Plug-N-Play feature. Unfortunately, the part has been discontinued: Crutchfield no longer carries it, nor do any dealers I could find online, including Midwest Electronics.

The part number is 023pnp016. Anyone out there have one or know how to find one?

I was looking at this amp as well. I picked one up from Crutchfield to hook into my 03 530i but the RCA inputs will apparently not take the balanced signal the oem head unit puts out. Also, I found out that unless you use the PnP adapter you need to use a dedicated sub input. Only with the PnP adapter will it derive the sub channel from the 4 channel input.

I am not certain if the PnP input will take the balanced output from the head unit but as they don't make the plug adapter, much less the harness, available there really isn't an easy way to tell. I've called Blaupunkt and they were really no help what-so-ever. Crutchfield also really has no clue. Incidentally the harness you are looking for is the one that might work in my 530i but Blaupunkt sems to say that it is only for non-US spec BMWs that do not have the oem amp module in the trunk. My next step is to try the Infinity Kappa Five which is about the same size and can take the balanced input.
