Little help deciding on how many subs

Yes lots of people run them at .5ohm... Just don't let voltage drop under 12v and you will be fine. No need to run 3 woofers when u have 4.... Wire all four to .5ohm and adjust your gain so you stay 12v+.....

Ok now for the next question. How do I properly set my gains not knowing what the output is at .5 ohm. I've always set my gains with a dmm. If my math is correct I'm looking for 94.68 being 9k @ 1 ohm

if you would consider a cap bank i could point you to a cap bank that would help you out just as good as any battery bank and weight a hell of alot less..

also id go with 4 and the higher load its going to be more efficient. honestly though i think the .5 ohm load would work your going to get about 1ohm rise out of it..

set the DMM to dc crank it when you see any DC output its clipping.. lol

That was my thought exactly. With box rise I would probably be around 1 ohm anyway. Not to sure on caps. Have never messed with them before. Whats the cost vs agm batteries. Thanks

for a cap bank that would work with 10kw and have enough reserve your looking at around the same price as a battery bank.. it would be 5 2.8 volt caps in series 4 banks ran parallel at about 45$ a cap your look at 900 bucks plus some copper plates to connect them another 60 bucks or so..

need to find the 2.8 volt 3200s but none the less these kick *** too! i thou about building a back that has variable banks that discharge in sections similar to how a battery would discharge in order to have a greater continuous output supply.. if your interested we can venture into it.. lol
