Line Output Converter question.

Hi, I'm fairly new to car systems and stuff, but I just bought an Audi A6 and i'm installing my new system in it, very excited.

I have 2 kicker comps and a kicker 750watt amp, and I was wondering...

The stock car stereo that I have right now is really nice, and I kinda want to keep it and install the sound system to it, so I hear I need a Line Output Converter

Here's one:

So I was wondering, how good are these? Will I still get the most out of my subs if I'm using one of these?

Also, if there's a better one, could you please post it.

thanks.

what year is it the bose system

prly can get a low level output behind the headunit or before the amp which would be a better way then a line out converter and cheaper

2001.

Please post a link to one of those too, I'm not good at this stuff. I'll just be buying all the parts and getting it installed at Best Buy.

A LOC works well. Lots of people use them with cars who have integrated systems into the stereo, such as AC and Heating, etc. If the Bose system has a subwoofer, you can tap into the connection there, and it'll already be filtered.

If you're doing a full system, you just have to make sure to tap into a full range signal.
