Line Output Converter Question

Hey guys, got a line output converter question. I have this http://www.crutchfield.com/S-YeHADztQ8k7/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?search=line+output+converter&i=142SLC4 line output converter, as you can see it is for a 4 channel amp which I have. I'm only going to be using the amp to power 2 door 6x9's and then bridging the rear channel of the amp to power 1 subwoofer. My question is do I still need to run 8 speaker wires into it even though I only need 6 speaker wires to wire everything? Will it hurt anything if I only run 6 wires into it? My thinking is that it shouldn't, but I'm new to this stuff so I just wanna make sure before I mess anything up. Also the wires that will be used for the subwoofer do I have to do anything special with them as far as how they get wired in from the speakers to the line output converter or just wire it normal just like I would a single speaker?

I would use all 8 speaker wires.

What amp do you have? Will it allow you to use the left and right inputs on channels 3 and 4 and then sum them for the mono output? If it is a decent amp, it shoud.

Brian
