sup guys i just financed a brand new 06 civic si and i dont want to remove the factory unit since it's all one piece with my navig and it also plays mp3. i was wondering if i use power from my rear speaker outputs to a LOC will i still be able to use the rear speakers and if so how?

ic thanks. also what if the factory head unit has built in equalizers that will only give high notes to the speakers as opposed to the low notes a sub needs? wont a sub recieve only those highs as well?

Use splice connectors seen here-

Any filtering of the audio signal at the speaker wires will effect the signal to the LOC since they connect directly to the speaker wires.

But I don't think your factory Honda unit has such filtering, Bose systems do though.
