My friend wants a good/cheap NEW HU with a built in 3 way x-over and some type of x-over. I am going to get one off ebay. What would you suggest?

I thought you wrote 8445 I see you referred to the 8443. I couldn't find a new 8443 on ebay.

yea probably either the alpine 9853 and pioneer 860 would probably be the cheapest new.

they don't make the 8443 anymore. that is the 2003 model i believe.
