okay question for all!

i will be doin an install for my uncle this up and comin weekend. he has a new fj cruiser and wants 2 sets of comps and an amp to push them but wants to keep factory radio.

time for the question. well i know when you usually do this type of install you use the rcs jacks on the radio. but i doubt the stock radio has any so. would i use a rca converter? if so where would i hook this up seeing that im cuttin factory wires and runiing new wire from speakers to the amp!? any hellp would be useful thanks!

i just did it this weekend. go to walmart and buy a line output converter. wire tap your front speakers from the headunit into the converter, and run the rca outputs to the amp..then cut the wires that go to your speakers and continue those to the amp.

its really simple. just go online and get a diagram of the factory wires so you know what is what

here cuz im feeling nice bish
