line drivers ..yes/no?

Try different placement of box and also face the box towards the rear of the vehicle.

Also try different xover slopes 60,70,80 ,90 and 100hz.

This should get rid of that distant car effect.

imo, loudness is crap. It may very well distort every dan song you have.

And it's basically up to you if your going for line drivers. But be wary, it will ony sound good for 1 person //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

tried it all, the box also seemed to have NO OUTPUT above 70hz?? is that normal for a ported enkloshure?

Does a line driver help get rid of engine noise? Is that what is meant by cleaning up the signal. I use my loud button but I never listen to it over 20 or it starts to distort. It is definately for low volumes only

it would be nice to have it play flat from 90-20?
Actually you don't want a flat curve, the human ears sensitivity drops as the frequency gets closer to 20hz so a flat curve will actually sound weak, a preferable curve starts at 10hz and slopes down to 100hz, thats what will sound "flat" to us.

If you actually listened to a system with a flat RTA curve you would find the lows and highs lacking because the way the human ear works.

Do you have an EQ?, just bump up the lower frequencys around 100hz to increase midbass.

Does that PG have the optional bass boost knob. If so you could use that to turn up the bass at lower levels. I have never used this option on any of my amp so it may not be beneficial to you. It was just a thought.

No. Line driver only boosts the preout voltage. If you have engine noise; the problem isn't signal voltage it's poor grounds.

And line drivers don't "clean" anything up. They increase the signal voltage, allowing you to decrease your amp gains, which could possibly lower the noise floor (some amps are noisy with higher gain settings). If you have no noise from the gain structure already, a line driver won't help you any.
