Line Drivers..what is its function??

What exactly does a line driver, such as Lanzar OptiD-100, do? Anyone have experience with such product?? Thanks!

line drivers boost output voltage of rcas. say you have 2v preouts, you run that to a line driver, and the out put from there will be more (depends on the line driver in question)

Lower gain setting, could possibly result in better sound quality.

a simple line driver normally just ups the voltage going to the rca's.If you get a bass line driver you can controll the boost freq. and the Q. as well

I have a Fosgate t2000 amp and there is not much contorl to it from the remote. I would like to get more from a wired remote and was wondering if such item as labzar would help

I read a fer threads on that and many seem to think it downgrades the SQ somewhat.

no but it looks like it is a bass line driver not just a regular one.7 volt pre-out (seen higher) remote adjustments.I have an audiobling ab39t that is about the same.I had pretty good results with it.I like the fact you can control the volume as well as the Q and change freq. all from the dash.

Its Audiobahn but everyone calls them "bling".Not the exact same but do the same thing.
