Just got the wife a 07 burb and I have this stuff laying around screaming at me. I don't trust the local shops so here I am trying to catch up from the 80s.
As for the music we listen to just about everything
The haves
HU Pioneer f900bt
JL audio 1000/1 (getting repaired)
TC 3000 12" (going to glass into 1.3 sq box sealed )
I'm pretty convertible with my sub set other then tuning but still open to ideas
Here lies my problems
JL audio 300/4 4x75 rms
MTX TXC5.1 150 rms (too much for the 300/4 at 4 channels ?) I don't think I like them to much.
The what I wants?
Im thinking a 450/4 will work with 1000/1 much better
A set of Focal 165 KF up front
Set of Focal 6.5 coaxial in the rear doors for the peeps in back watching the flip down.
I have not gave much thought on the active or passive crossover thing yet and may be shooting myself in the foot.
So any help would be great I plan on blogging the build when I get the gear so keep a look out.
