Oh man, I might be crazy. Battery in the box??

Ok, so i've got a box almost done, just needs a front baffle.

So I've been stuck on where to mount my batteries since the box takes up all the room behind my seat.

SOOO i had this crazy idea...Make the subs inverted with external ports, and mount the batteries (make sure its solid) inside the box.

Is this even doable? I understand that it will take away from net volume, and be a total ***** to mess with if i need to change things...but i'm running out of options.

I know its a stupid idea, but my next resort is to get a truck box and mount the batteries in there...which I don't want to do because I'll be selling the truck soon enough.

I would probably use some type of gromet and seal it up.

Yeah mean, I did it with 2 hawkers because I was in the same boat. I had SOME room left, but wanted to retain it for small items and such. Works fine, just mount it solid

aside the point, why are you doing this to your truck if you plan to sell it soon.
