well there needs to be a hole somewhere in your firewall for the wire to go through...my car has one on each side, but yours might not. in that case, i think you just need to drill a hole big enough for the wire to fit through.

just make sure u dont drill thru anything other than the firewall tho, make sure the area behind the spot u wanna drill is clear.

Take a bit of wire with you to the auto parts store and pick up some rubber grommets make sure you find some big enough to put the wire through. This is going to make sure the firewall doesn't eat away at you wire and cause a fire hazard.
