Lights for inside of box?

So i am started on building a box with a plexi window and want to put red lights on the inside. I have the relay and socket figured out that i will use but i need to pick out the light(s). Would an LED strip be the best way to go or what about neon or a cold cathode tube? I want it to be pretty bright. Ideas?

I was just worried it wouldn't be bright enough my window will be 12 x 24 would a 19 inch LED strip be enough or would two be better?

id say do what they did on unique whips cause it looked sweet. take a clear plexi tube drill small holes in make it kinda lookn bubbling type and mount the tube underneath through the plexi tube. it looked bad@ss.

Ok i didnt see that show and i am pretty confused of what your talking about some kind of picture would help greatly.

10" neon tube will work fine. make sure the inside of the box is bright white and 1 tube will be plenty

sry man don't have a pic nor can i find one. i would go with mdillon say's instead alot easier and that will 4 sure work x2 on that.
