lights dimming problem?

what would be the cheapest way to fix the dimming lights due to my subs besides turning music down or some smart *** answer?

throw a good battery up front....kinitek, optima yellow, deka,stinger.

I did the Big 3 and swapped to an optima yellow top up front, and noticed a huge improvement. My lights still dim when I'm slammin it hard, but not even 50% as bad as it was before. It's too the point where if I added a second battery, I think it would totally eliminate my dimming.

New alternator

Depending on how much power your amps are pulling and if it's too much for your battery to handle, a bigger alt will not resolve dimming. Issue is alts do not increase power output until the regulator senses a voltage drop. If your battery can't handle the amperage draw before the alt can increase its output, you'll get dimming.
