cops in my area are like bloodhounds

in my state a front plate is required, but i dont have one so i've been pulled over about 4-5 times for it. each time it was during the day and a few times i had drank a few beers.

the times i wasnt drinking they just ran my license and i got a warning because it is clean, but times i had a few beers i was always asked if i was drinking and i always respond yes i had 2 beers at a friends house

it is crazy how acurate they are, they dont come within 4 feet of you, but it seems they can sense that you had been drinking

I got my car searched once because the cop said he smelled alcohol on my breath even though I hadn't been drinking. I had a sealed bottle of whiskey in a brown bag that I was going to take to my friend's b-day (I was going to my DD's house) sitting on my passenger seat. I figured if the bottle was sealed it did not matter where you kept it. I did not followup to find out the legality of that. I think he used the bottle to say I was drinking hence giving reason to search. The whole thing started out because I was sitting in my parked car with my leg hanging out while I was getting the face to my HU out. Cop said I looked suspicious like that and it went from there. Seemed ok, but once he found out it was my car there shouldn't have been any need to pursue any further. I blame the neighborhood. It was pretty hood. Everyone there my age looks like a thug. Oh, I am white. So pointless searches happen to us too.
