Leasing a car/truck?

Yeah, what happens if you buy a brand new lex for 30k and then the ****** or engine blows up or some bullshit, then you're like 40k in the hole plus you have to deal with selling it and losing money and all that bullshit.

If it was my ONLY vehicle I would buy it, but as a second, I feel more comfortable leasing I think.

I was actually looking at the IS250/350 AWDs but lexus always wants a hella big deposit up front
If you buy new then you normally have at least a 3 year 36K bumper to bumper warranty and most powertrains are 75K -100K, so ******/motor is covered. You shouldn't be 40K in a hole and thats even if you bought the car used without a warranty, you're still covered through the powertrain warranty. The car will most of the time be 5-6 years or older before the powertrain goes, which means no engine coverage.

I thought you were talking normal maintenance repairs. My Enclave's bumper to bumper warranty is done in about 1500 miles(50K), however if my engine blows I'm still covered till 100K.

I wouldn't recommend a lease, or buying brand new cars. I am 24 and have bought 2 brand new cars(financed). Yeah I know that goes against what I just said. When it comes to a leased car, you can only put so many miles on it before they start charging you. And if you scratch or damage the car they can charge you when you bring it back. And with a lease you are spending money on something you have to give back.
I recommend finding a 1 year old car, with maybe 20 000 miles on it. It will still be in brand new condition, at a fraction of the cost.
You can opt for the amount of milage you can drive a year without being charged, we did 15K/year. And paid the extra $500 for the scratch/damage that I know the wife will do to it. It already has a scratch on the front bumper, only had it for 2 months....

There's another 30K on mpc.com and 10K on nn.com.
You mad because I get paid to do this? Lemming.
Oh, so you are some slacker desk jockey that doesn't feel like doing his job, so you spend your days browsing the interweb.

What lexus does she have? If you got a good deal you should PM me or something the details on the lease. I really like the IS series, I drove my buddies (rich parents bought it) IS250 AWD and its a really fun car and I dig the interior alot. Good gas mileage as well and maintenance is pretty cheap since its pretty much a Camry.

I have been considering it but I like having a truck for my dogs (american bulldog.. too big for a car)

Hey now hey now.

Dont be jelly.

I been at work all day. But I been doing my job as good as the next guy (probably better even)

Looks like you stupid fucks don't know how to work a lease.
In a traditional transaction, you make the downpayment unfront. In a leased transaction, you make the downpayment at the end. Leases are very advantagous for people on the come-up. If you know you'll be making more money in 5 years, a lease makes perfect sense. It is the people that roll leases over and are in a forever spiral of leases that get caught up in the game. They're retards. The same ones that roll cradit cards.

I honestly have never heard something more retarded in my life. I am gonna call 911, slit my wrist, relive my past, when I get out of the hospital, come home. and masterbate.

Technically you can rent a car from Hertz for~$300 a month, front wheel drive) and rag the shit out of it, never pay maintenance, get a new car whenever you want and never have to pay a fee at the end of the agreement.

Whoa there.

I think it would costway more than $300 a month.. I was looking at renting a car while visiting Colorado and I was lookin at about $200 for the weekend..

I'm 23 though so that could affect the price a bit

well, they advertise $10 a day, but I have never rented a car from them. Just another idea for ya, I am not sure how hard it would be to get a dealers license in your state, but getting one and heading to a couple auctions could possibly be an option. Sometimes you can get a really good deal on a vehicle, and since the laws governing the auction process have been changed, they have to provide documentation for the vehicle and at least 24 hours to test drive and inspect a vehicle before you buy it.

BTW, I had to double check myself on whether or not the stupid stuff I said earlier was gonna be okay, but then realized SM doesn't post anywhere but the dome, lol.

Thats weekend price or some shit. The smallest car they have will cost you about 119 before taxes every week(7 days), so thats 476 before taxes. I just had a rental a week ago in Seattle that was cheaper than Hertz/Avis/etc and it was $84 for 3 days, the smaller car was only $5 cheaper a day.

Wait for it.....
BOOM.

Stupid fuck making statements about shit he hasn't even ever done.
