I have everything apart and in storage for about a week while my new Oak floors are being laid.....I hope by around the first of next week I'll be able to put everything back together....3 rooms downstairs are tore apart for the remodel job right now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Go anywhere, look at any numbers. The facts are that plasmas on average use 2-3x the power of an LCD monitor.
Which accounts for the average usage per year of ~2 incandescent light bulbs? lol Keep straining, I can't wait to see you pop a vessel in futility.... as I said, Kommiefornia isn't exactly the bastion of common sense... how much of a paycut has the average gov't worker there been forced to take to try to fix the massive screwups of their governing bodies???

The only thing you are effectively arguing is that YOU can still see it, so it must exist. Well guess what? it doesn't. I suspect this strong stance among plasma hyping people is because of the additional price of the LCD's you just don't wanna spend the extra money so you make up artifacts on the screen to justify the fact that you've bought or argued on the side of an inferior product. However ever since LCD's reached around the 5ms response time, motion blur is no longer an issue.
You "suspect" it is made up. Wow, that's a lot more concrete. lol The motion blur associated with these supposed 5ms LCDs is because even the response times listed are not realistic, either. Check out this review and you will see that actual measured response times on even high-end LCD-based sets were actually up to 10 times the stated rate by manufacturers. Not surprising... more inflated specs to impress uninformed consumers.
Oh funny, yet you argued so avidly about the dynamic contrast ratio. Funny also that this is simply a ploy by the LCD manufactures to make their TV's look better when most of the most popular Plasma makers also quote dynamic contrasts and leave static out of it. Know why? I wonder, lets think for a minute...
As for contrast ratios, I never said plasma didn't inflate theirs, too... I said they're all bullshit. Didn't I? Yes. But when you look at native contrast ratios (the only ones that do matter a whit), plasma still beats out LCD as well. This 240Hz marketing hype BS is all smokescreen to impress the uninformed... and it works. Great for the manufacturers, bad for consumers who are being duped into paying top-dollar for something that is not only useless, it can actually worsen a TVs performance on things like gaming and fast-moving source material. lol

Like I said before... many LCD owners have seen my plasma in my home and raved about it... not to mention that it rocks the house for gaming. So glad I didn't fall for the hype and buy one of those underperforming, overpriced LED-lit LCDs.

that's the one I plan on getting soon. At first I was pissed at the price jack of the LED tv's cause they are essentially just an LCD with a fancy back light, but that visio line is very reasonable and looks fantastic.

the point is mute, I can run a freakin 100amp load for 5 minutes and use less than 1 incandescent lightbulb in a year, but in the mean time I've just burned my house down in 5 minutes. That fact is that there is mountains of scientific research and reporting that back the decisions made in California. Does that make the decisions economically feasible? No not at all. But does something lose credibility only because its not economically feasible? Of course not. We would all have to take pay cuts to completely eradicate the nation's dependency on fossil fuel, does that mean it's not true that fossil fuel's will run out and destroy our environment in the process? of course not. The issue with Cali is in implementation of policy, not the principles on which policy are made. STFU everything you say is opinion contradicted by given evidence.

hey dipshit, here is a passage taken from that exact site
LCDs have their own 800 pound gorilla: limited Response Time, which causes motion blur. Just like Plasmas, this was a significant problem for LCDs many years ago, and we’ll demonstrate that it too is no longer an issue now. But unlike Plasmas, the LCD manufacturers have turned this into a brilliant marketing strategy, offering ever more sophisticated and enhanced motion processing and ever higher 120 Hz and 240 Hz screen refresh rates to repeatedly over-sell a solution to a problem… that is no longer a problem.
Your reading comprehension skills are amazing. But hey, you keep arguing against yourself and i won't have to.

As for contrast ratios, I never said plasma didn't inflate theirs, too... I said they're all bullshit. Didn't I? Yes. But when you look at native contrast ratios (the only ones that do matter a whit), plasma still beats out LCD as well. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif yes this certainly has evidence. LCD's particularly LED-Backlit are aproaching and surpassing plamsas in static contrast ratios. care to explain how, say, a game run at 75 hz like wow will run better on a 600hz sub-field drive TV than on a 120 hz interpolation?
Like I said before... many LCD owners have seen my plasma in my home and raved about it... not to mention that it rocks the house for gaming. So glad I didn't fall for the hype and buy one of those underperforming, overpriced LED-lit LCDs.

useless features to me...most wifi adapter are there for the news and crapy apps...samsung on the other hand will soon offer blockbuster online app...and well i dont think the quality of vizio tvs is all that great..i have only seen one of their tvs thats impressive and thats there best led tv available...other than that i think they r budget tvs..wit awful warranty...i rather buy a toshiba

Nah those things are gnarly, it has bluetooth capability and A built-in wifi adapter.

that's the one I plan on getting soon. At first I was pissed at the price jack of the LED tv's cause they are essentially just an LCD with a fancy back light, but that visio line is very reasonable and looks fantastic.
yeah it was reasonable priced and seemed to show a cleaner sharpe pictuer than the others on display including the Sharp LED TV......I paid $1400 for it with a 3 year extended in house warranty....
