So in summary, like I said in the beginning....

If you are willing to buy high-end, LCD's rule.

If you are budget conscious, The low end plasmas are cheaper for better quality than the low end LCD's.

However those lines are quickly blurring. PDP will be phased out soon enough.

I just bought the samsung 50" plasma from fredmyer.. they had it on sale for 959.00... so far i really like it.... here is the same one at best buy... Samsung - 50" Class / 1080p / 600Hz / Plasma HDTV - PN50B550T2F. i just bought it friday so i haven't had much time to watch it yet.. i had a 56" HDTV Jvc rear projection before.. so it was a big jump better for me.. today i am going to get all my surrond sound hooked up and watch some movies tonight..

I concur...I hardly ever watch football but I'm watching the Super Bowl...
No excuse for anyone not to watch the superbowl.. If you dont like football, the commercials are well worth it.. Doritos Had a few good ones already

This x10, plus the halftime show should be awesome this year...

I was kind of impressed by the Russel Crow, Robin Hood trailer. Didn't even know they were making that...
