Last steps of install = FAIL!?

Alright! I have some good/bad news. I took a dremel/wirebrush to the sub-frame in the trunk and grounded both amps to it. Good news: It worked! Both amps power up and the 4ch powers the speakers perfectly just as before. Now the mono amp powers up just fine but the sub is not making a sound - :/ At first I only had the +/- wires going to 1 terminal on the amp but I changed that so now the single SX is wired to all 4 +/- clamps. When I mounted the sub in the box I wired it directly to the terminal cup with 10 gauge wire. I used just regular 'ol 10 gauge from the hardware store, would this be the problem?

At least I have my components back to working and both amps power up and are grounded correctly now I just need some sound from my SUB! Sorry if this is noobish but this is killin me! Thanks for all your help and hopefully I can get some videos uploaded soon once I get this figured out!

no 10 gauge isnt an issue... i dunno wtf u just said about + and -.l.. are u saying u only used one coil? if your talking about the amp.... its totally not necessary to use both sets of temrinals on the amp...

haha, I was talking about the amp terminals. I didn't think it mattered but I am out of solutions. The SX is a dual 2 VC and I have it wired in parallel to the amp.

I'm positive its wired in parallel. I checked the resistance on the speaker terminals and got 2 which is right from what I'm reading. Is there a way to check the RCA for signal? I double checked to make sure it was plugged into the HU and without taking it out I'm pretty sure the connections are good. I'm trying not to have to crack open the box to check the other wires because I'm 90% sure its all correct but I'm running out of ideas. Please let me know of any more suggestions! Thanks again

So you are 10% sure it's incorrect?

Update: I unscrewed the sub from the box and triple checked my wiring...Everything looks good, I was going to remove the wiring from the sub to check with the DMM but ran out of sunlight again.

Can somebody tell me what wires I need to check with the DMM in order to find the problem? Sorry if this is noobish, but I'm out of solutions...

The coils could be in parallel without being in phase.

I checked all my wires again and came out with no problems. Popped the sub out and both my voice coils are reading 1.9-2ohms after subtracting resistance just as they should, my speaker wires inside the box are secured and wired correctly. I flat out have no idea why I'm not getting sound!? WTF am is missing here?

what head unit? is the subwoofer output turned on ? and is the subwoofer output volume turned up at all? is the amp turned up at all?

rcas are they in the input? switch on the amp master and slave is it set as master?

All my wiring from the amp +/- terminals back to the voice coils are reading 16-19 ohms when measuring the resistance but its not fluctuating when bass hits. It is a brand new audioque 1200D so I just flat out don't get it. Any help is VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!!!
