I am by no means liable if you fuck up your computer//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
ok....I installed this
NHC
#1. record your factory settings so you can reset them later if you desire (I can't see anyone wanting to)
#2. On the voltage tab, check the box at the bottom to use only the first multiplier and voltage setting. Using this box, NHC will never set the CPU to be faster or slower than that fist setting. This is great for testing.
#3. To find the minimum voltage for each multiplier decrease the voltage by .03 - .05 volts at a time. After each voltage change, you need to click "Set". NHC will do a quick stability test. If you freeze or blue screen during NHC's test, don't freak out. Reboot the laptop and you will find that NHC has automatically set the voltage back to the last stable one.
#4. Once you get your failure voltage for one multiplier, go to the next available higher voltage so there is a bit of padding between your running voltage and failure.
#5. When you have repeated this process for each of your multipliers, then uncheck the box at the bottom fill in the rest of the table with your multipliers and voltages.
Also, on the CPU speed tab, set both the settings drop boxes to "dynamic switching"
Now that the Cpu is running cooler, all you have to do is install a fan utility and the fan may no longer have to run under low cpu usage. You save power on the voltages and the fan not having to run //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/woot.gif.aaa6090e619a97b6090d16dd863c5a69.gif
