ok so my computer crashed back in like april. i actually got it to run and was messing around with it but my dumb *** wiped the whole hard disk and c/ drive using a program called kill disk. i tried to reload windows on the computer but i keep getting a message saying something about windows cant find any hard drives or disk drives or something idk. but it wont let me even reload windows on my laptop. does anyone know what i could do to get my laptop running again?

You wiped out the partion and you need to take the drive out and make it a slave somehow with a external enclosure hook it up to a computer and partition the drive using disk wizard which is in administrator tools. THE WINDOWS CD WILL NOT FIND THE DISK BECAUSE THERE IS NO PARTITION TO LOOK AT AND WHEN YOU HOOK IT UP TO ANOTHER COMPUTER IT WILL NOT SHOW UP IN MY COMPUTER. If you need more help on this IM me at reimermatt I can help you out.

I have no idea why you are telling him to pull the drive out. There is no need for that. The drive is wiped clean, which means he does have to repartition the drive. However he also stated that he tried to put the windows disc (now here's the assumption on my part, I'm assuming he's talking about a windows reinstallation disc) in which case that disc will repartition the drives for him. So all you need is that disc, or another OEM copy of windows.

Nope I am working with him now and we tried that and it is not working, I understand what you are saying but that is not working right now. I know what he did so unless you do understand let me handle this. thank you

It's probably b/c it's an older windows disc that doesn't have the correct sata drivers on it, so it won't recognize the drive. Happens fairly often at the office here. Or the drive is dead, one of the two.Simple bios check would let you know.
