Laptop help

Hi

I was wanting some help in mounting a virgin player (modified into a laptop) in my car. The size of this unit is like 10 by 10 1/2 . The virgin player is like an LCD screen with the CPU part connected to its back so its like 3 inches thick. Anyone know a cheap idea to mount it on the top dash of the car in a Honda Civic 95. I don't want to use a laptop stand since it cannot sit on it like a laptop does. So any help is appreciated. Thx..
