Lanzar Opti Line

Jigga what?
So how would you rate the quality of the Lanzar Opti line. I could be getting two Ov.2's however they wont have any D4's in stock for a while. All they have now is D2's and they cant be wired to 1 Ohm so then I wouldn't be able to use the nine.1 to to its full potential.

So about Lanzar Opti amp...would the model OPTI500X2 (http://www.lanzar.com/itempage.asp?MODEL=OPTI500X2) be good enough to power the two subs at 600+ watts each. They supposedly do 750 x 2 Watts RMS Power into 2 Ohms (meaning 750 watts for each sub at 2 Ohms right?) but i'm not too sure.

Can anyone here with experience with this line/amp help me out a little?

Or can anyone here recommend any 2 channel amps that do 600+ watts on each channel and costs less than $300.

I won't be getting any Lanzar Subs, these could be powering Elemental Designs 13 Ov.2 subs. Sry for any of the confusion in that 1st post.

yea, real funny, bump for a mod to move it so maybe i can get more repsonses.

comon now, its thursday and only 11:30 pm, you mods should be moderating from 7 in the morning to atleast 12 am (leaves 8 hrs of necessary sleep //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif)

so lets get to it!

To the best of my knowledge there has never been an Opti amp made that was short of very good. Excellent quality, good processing, a lot of power, very durable...

The new stuff is a bit of a change from the '03 and earlier stuff, but has been getting great reviews.

You're going to get the power that's advertised, and most likely, it's going to last a long time.

BTW -

Opti monoblocks are great amps. UnderratedTheir 4000d is a current hog. Needs lots of it.
Well, for 4000 watts -- what exactly do you expect??

well i guess i'll end up getting the OPTI500X2 over the nine.1 then. i save like 20 bucks and i wont have to wait a month (probably more) for d4 eD 13Ov.2's.

a few people at termpro.com seem to give lots of positive feeback too so i guess its done deal.

when it says 725 watts rms x 2 at 2 Ohms, it means that each sub will be getting around 725 watts at 2 Ohms right?

Also how would the wiring differ from a mono amp and a 2 channel amp. Would you treat the two channel as if it were two mono amps combined.

How would I wire the 2 13 Ov.2's (Dual 2 Ohm VC) to this OPTI500X2 so I could end up having a 2 Ohm final load for each sub.

just fyi, the opti 500x2 does 490w x 2 @ 2ohm. don't pay attention to the specs on the website, they have been screwy for years.

id pick up the nine.1, although i never used a lanzar opti line amp, just for the fact that i dislike lanzar, flame on //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
