OPTIDRIVEN
wow - those boards aren't exactly jaw-dropping. 1kw?? Seriously?i run a 1ohm load on my opti 200.2... put's out over 1kw //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif solid amps
Anyway - my experience with Lanzar spans from about '92 to now, and from Vibe to Optidrive - 10 to 15 different amps. I had one problem - with a Vibe 1200D. Lanzar sent me a replacement from the factory that worked perfectly along with some in-depth technical info on that particular amp, and the problems they had with building it and what was done to solve them.
Optidrives are solid amps. Plain and simple. Regardless of their sister companies. They're relatively affordable and can hold their own against any other mfg.
The cheaper stuff is, well, cheaper stuff. It seems to me the power ratings on some viberant and heritage models are ridiculously inflated, but all things considered, for the price they do their job.
