lol laughs at u. yes u do need multiple runs when running any voltage setup. the reason for the runs is so u dont have any drop in voltage from the front of the vehicle to the back. i dont know where u got ur misleading information from

And trust me, chris would know. He had an externally regulated alt on his caravan and had almost as much wire as you. 3-4 runs of each would have sufficied.

I have a question- with the two mounting holes for the bottom two subs touching, how do you plan to mount the subs? Won't the mounting "lips" overlap?

Those boards that are almost touching are the flush-mount boards. The subs don't actually mount to those panels.
