2.) Type X

In order from best to last. This is my oponion, and I've heard all these subs. The W7 is a great all aroud sub, but comes with a great big price too. The Type X is a very good SQL sub, sounds great to me and gets decently loud. I didn't think the 9500 sounded that great, it did get pretty loud though. As far as the L7's, I've never heard one in a sealed box that I have liked.

all are great subs, some have diffrent advantages. they all get loud, ive had experience with the L7, W7, and Type X. ive herd good things about the 9500 and some bad, along with the ohter 3. One reason alot of people dont like the W7 is cause the price tag that is straped to those bad boys. You wont be able to get the same SQ out of the L7 as you would the W7. The Type X sounds good and is comparable to the output of a W7. Then you compare the size of the subwoofer your looking to get. The W7 comes in 4 diffrent sizes the others dont offer a 8" model (as far as i know). Just go to your local shop and listin to everything you can and find what you like and fits your needs best.

The Type X dosen't come in a 15" modle, just 10" and 12".
