L5 Box Size Question?

i have a 10'' l5 what box size and hertz should i shoot for, for a ported box for like LOUD HITTING BASS ?

i mostly listen to rap.

and the amp is a kx400.1 birth sheet says 475 rms

i would have said 32 but its not enough to really tell a difference

With L5/7s I wouldnt tune lower than 35...they are not lowend monsters. Treat them as streatbeaters...I build one for a friends L5 12 tuned to 40 and hes more than happy...

2.25ft^3 tune it around 32hz.

my L5s and L7s were both tuned to 32 and seemed fine to me and everyone who heard them. I hated the way they sounded in 40 Hz box

what will the 35hz sound like

and i got 3.2 cubes to work with being the biggest i can go

yea it will be loud but not low, this is one of the first times i have heard anyone want to rune a L7 high though

Its pretty common from what I have seen...with my experience 35 is the lowest Ill go...just personal preference...
And to the original poster...if you just want lil jon loud with no SQ, 2-2.5 at 40 will be decently loud....

red, but i wouldnt see a prod with yellow either

any reason you want it shaped like that? would think you could make a more simplistic L shaped port

i just printed it assuming it was right

should i just take the purple piece out or would that affect the hz
