Not hardly dude. The kicker 2500s from what i can tell push about 2700-2800 watts@1ohm. And by the way, i since i put that new cd player in, my amp pounds ALOT harder on that sub as well, should have let you listen to it, sounded just as loud as the kicker dude, i can smell voice coil within a couple minutes on mine as well now, NOT GOOD!!! But the second sub will fix that! LOL

From what I have read on here most of the birthsheets show that many watts at 2 ohm. So I'm sure it pushes out more at 1 ohm.

but those birthsheets are ran at a constant 2ohm. At th same time, there are no voltage drops or resistance in the line that will change the ohm factor.

Those birthshets are not real world situations, so in a vehicle, he will most likely never see the 2700 @ 2ohms on that birthsheet, unless he ran his amp at .25 or even run the amp at 15-16v, which i don't think is possible

LOL not many people know. They used to run them alot overseas, before the company went out of business in korea because they made too much money LOL. They are stout amps, especially at 16 volts. Realistically they say they push out around 3000@.5 from what ive heard and from everyone ive talked too.

Korean laws man just what i heard, good thing is, the solid audio 2500d is the same board as an american bass xd3000.

Well I am going to be ordering 50 foot of the lighning audio flat 1/0 wire tomorrow. I am going to redo the big 3 with 0 guage instead of 2 guage, as I have now. Then of course going to have a run going from the battery, through a 300a fuse, to the kx2500.

I really hope this takes care of my problem.

alright. Got the wire in and put it in last night. Everything worked good. I didn't turn the gain up any but it wasn't shutting off even with the headlights on and the heater on. Drove for about an hour and never had a problem. I woke up this morning and turned my car on and the amp immediately entered protect mode in and out of it, even with the volume all the way down. So I had to turn my cd player off. I got out of school, started my car and turned my cd player on and it once again immediately went into protect mode in and out, so I turned my cd player off again. I got home and popped the trunk and the amp had some smoke coming out of it. I checked the connections and everything looks good. The fuse under the hood is good also.
