Kove Audio Armageddon Repair

There's a Kove Armageddon 15" for sale on Facebook but the cone is coming unglued from the spider. If I take off the dustcap, shim the voice coil, and epoxy the cone back to the spider where it needs it, will that suffice and hold?

It should be glued to the coil not the cone but yes shiming and reglue should be ok just be careful removing the cap not to rip the top glossy layer of the cone
