KnuKonceptz 1/0 Gauge Wire???

lol, I knew it would be too good to be true. And no smart car here, got a 94 Caprice so I'ma need a bit of wire. I would love to get some kicker hyperflex, but that stuff is pretty exspensive last time I looked at it. I may just **** it up and buy some of that Kolossus flex. Maybe I'll get lucky and somebody will need to sell some good wire real soon.

Kicker Hyperflex, Monster 1/0, and Kolossus Flex are all virtually identical wires, and any of them will work for your application. Welding 1/0 could also work but hard to say. It doesn't have quite as thick of copper and it's really hard to work with. But if you can find larger quantities (like 60 feet) there's generally a price drop over getting just a few feet.

So the Monster Cable on Ebay is pretty good? Cuz it's not a bad price, like this one. Or a guy has some stuff for sale in the classifieds section that his says is like welding wire, but more flexible. He says it's tinned copper and he has good feedback from everyone. Here it is. I just need to find some good wire pretty soon, lol.

.... knu 0g is just under 2/0 in size.... to the op im running the klm and it is not hard to work w/ at all you dont need to be able to wrap the shyt around your finger and at 1.75 a foot just do two runs and you can safely run a 500amp load for the same price as the other wires... i had to trim it down a bit to get it to fit into connectors for 1/0 its thick and i can wrap it around my hand w/ ease, compared it side to side w/ stinger 0g and it was way bigger the sales guy at the store had never seen wire so thick lol.... newb....

the knu klm is just under 2/0 in size, it's thicker than the knu flex because it has aluminum so it needs to be thicker. And a 500 amp load is kinda excessive, the short bit of wire he'll need to run from the rear batteries to the amp will let him run plenty of power. And it's only a 3200 watt amp.

well he will prolly still never pull a actual 300amps so why wouldent he save his money and just do one run and hook up battery's for 65 bucks? im running 2500w and i will have 3 runs b4 in done installing

I've been using the KLMX and never had a problem with it. I think it's great for the price...unless your running more than 200A, you don't really need the more expensive stuff.

Meh for the price of the KLMX it is hard to beat IMO. I have around 2000rms in my setup and it has done well. I hardly have any dimming issues whatsoever and I don't have the big3 done as of yet and a red top up front and a powermaster 5100 in the back.

When I used the Kicker Hyperflex in my cavy a few years ago I had slight dimming, with the big 3 done and 2 kinetiks off about 1700rms.

I really can't explain it, just how it is, lol!

Also everyone used to rave about the KLMX wire when it first came out. Now go figure, people diss it........

I think the older KLMX line used copper instead of aluminum, I could remember wrong though.

How could he do one run for 65 bucks? Or do you just mean one run of power from front to back and no run of ground?

****, I never knew wire could be so complicated... I still haven't found what I need to get yet... I'm nervous to buy any of it now, lol... I'm about to order my 4th sub, so I gotta find somethin here pretty quick...
