You did not answer the question about discharge adequately. When the alternator in the system is putting out let's say 14.4v, and there is a normal battery in parallel with the alternator, is the battery discharging to the amplifiers at all times? If not, when does it begin to discharge? THAT was the question.

Exactly. Depending on the duty cycle, you can have 20 batteries fully charged and without adequate alt I'll have them dead in a couple of minutes.
