kinetik 1400 help

Hi guys,

I got a kinetik HC1400 three monthes ago, I was wondering if I need to charge it before I install it, I will use it as a starting battery under the hood.

it shouldnt have dropped low enough where you cannot start the battery since it has been sitting for 3 months.

Check the battery with a dmm.

if its 12.5 or under i would charge it before i installed it. i am the same way with all batteries. a good new battery wet cell or agm should be able to rest at 12.6 AT LEAST ( agm slightly higher however).
