killing my battery

my bp1200.1 was killing my battery so i had to take it out. I'm going to make a long question very short.

Should I get rid of my regular battery and replace it with a deep cycle?

which would be better a regular cap or a BATCAP?

I need enough power to run 1 bp1200 for now with future up grade to 2 bp1200's so thanks for your time.

if it's killing your battery try getting a new alternator, if that don't work then you will need a H.O. alternator or get it rewound...caps won't fix anything unless your charging system is healthy....a couple of one farad caps would be good....deep cycled are only good if you have a helathy charging system, it all boils down is:

#1 is your alternator strong enough....

#2 is my battery in good shape

then add caps....

what is a good size alt. 110amp 150amp I dont really know. my charging system is good if i din't have the big amps running so high and hard so often that bp1200 has a 114 amp draw any help is welcome. thanks

alternators= car running power+charge battery

batteries= key off and reserve power aH is the amount of reserve

caps are voltage bridges

batcaps provide current and voltage bridge

great set up for you would be get your alt rewound to at least 120 amps, an optima yellow top and 2 battcaps or 2 farads of capacitor/s batcaps would be best but are over 220 each
