Just get the cvx 12. You'll be happy with it and your amp will do just fine with it.

You shouldn't need anything extra no. If need be toss a small battery back there.

never use a cap and you wont need any electrical upgrades except for the correct size wire (use 4 awg) a good ground and maybe the big 3. probably wont needa big 3 upgrade but it can only help.

thanks for all the help guys..now another question, say i want to run 2 amps from my battery.. one for door speakers pushing 50-100rms each.. now will i need any additional items?

That amp does about 900 watts. Kickers are underrated. My ZX1000 does 1233. It will come with a birth sheet to tell you what it does.

That being said, you could easily push a 1000 watt kicker sub( the 15inch )
