I have a HC600 that I'm using in place of a cap and have a quick question on how to wire correctly.

Now after I connect the 12v and Ground to it, do I run both 12v AND ground to the amps from the battery, or just the 12v and ground the amps to a different location?

im pretty sure you ground in a different location(not on the batt).

Correct me if im wrong tho.

bty i think its just batcaps that you have to ground with the amps.

I dont know if I completely understand what you are asking, but I will give it a shot.

If your asking to ground your second battery to any ground or to the ground of the starting battery, I would ground it to the other battery.

If you asking whether to ground your amp to the battery or a secondary location, go with grounding it to the battery, this will insure a better ground.

You can actually do it either way, just be sure the ground is sufficient for the second battery.

Haha, it was a ***** just getting one run of 1/0 from the battery to the rear. There are actually pretty good grounds in the hatch area of the car. They come from the rear subframe, so those should suffice.

Yea, this is what I meant. Ground the 2nd battery to the starting battery, to ensure a good ground. You CAN just ground the second battery seperate, but I would recommend grounding it to the battery. More of a hassle, but a little better result.
