The only actually grounding you are getting is through minimal contact with the bolt and washer on the other side. I'd take a dremmel to the paint below the ring terminal for maximum connection //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

wow i just scraped all black around it off, and it still will shut off around 45-50 with bass on 2 and hpf on 100hz.

i have a pioneer so its out of 62

its not like i want to go to 62 its just i want to be able to play it around 45-50 area with bass 3 and not shut off.

my setting on colouss are (running at 2 ohms btw)

Amps set like this

Subsonice-Middle

Bass eq-0

Low pass-pointing at like 11:00

Phase- like8:00

Level-2:00

How long does it take for the amp to shut off? What kind of car do you have? Sounds like it could be your alternator is going out and your amp is protecting itself or you may need a High output alternator. Well looks like you have an aftermarket alternator. You may want to check and see what the voltage reading is on it with multi meter.

Also what kind of subs are you running? dual 2 ohm dual 4 ohm single 2 ohm or single 4 ohm etc. How do you have them wired? Could be sending amp a load it isn't stable at.
