Keep Type S or upgrade to Type R?

I've got Type S 6.5" coaxials in my doors right now, and I'm thinking about upgrading to the type R's... How is the comparison in terms of SQ and loudness?

Dont upgrade to another set of Co-Axes go for a nice set of components

I thought about that, but I don't have a place for a tweeter, and I don't feel like having to get an extra amp and going through the hassle of trying to run the speaker wire.

you can run some comps as coax's they have option of mounting tweet in center or mid...

id go with some image dynamics or some DD components.

Depends on what you are looking for. I have a pair of type S's and they sound great. Type R's are more geared toward bass and not quite as bright.
