just speaker no component

I was wondering if components were really necessary to get the full performance of a speaker. I am too lazy to replace my tweeter because it's kind of confusing to do since I got the bose system. I wanted to buy separate speakers and power them through a amp. I got my viper 4 ch amp on my stocks right now. What do you guys think?

I think going with components instead of coaxials (assuming they are installed properly) will provide for immensely better imaging and more complete overall frequency range reproduction.

The only real advantage to coaxials over components is ease of installation and price.

I havn't found a way to unhook the stock tweeter. that's y i posted this thread . if i got components then i'd have to change da tweeter if i just get da speakers then i'd leave da tweeter alone.
