First off...thanks Snova for hooking me up.

I'm kind of excited about getting this sub in...its the first mainstream sub that I have bought in quite some time. Can't wait to see if this thing will actually take 2000w rms daily. I'll just be running one in my 5.5 cube box...it better fart loud.

No prob man...you shoulda gone with the 15!!

It's still a pretty frickin loud sub...very nice output. Many people were losing #'s when they bumped up box size, though

I wish I had the room for 15s...I might do a little modding to the box to lower the air space. Shouldn't be too hard.

i have a 12.2 sitting here, i sold my other 2 12's and the 15...but i like to keep one around

before i sold my amp, i had it running off the 2500D @ 1ohm. loves the power, however, it's in 1.5ft^3@32hz. you might want to drop down the size a little.

if you do plan to build a new enclosure for it, go 2.5ft^3@30-32hz w/ 30"-40" of port.....feed it a couple of kw's and you won't be dissapointed

Well I really liked my 15.2 H2 but like the xxx its VERy innefficient, actually the xxx got louder with the same power in my car in a drop in. I REALLY liked the sound, but I wish it had more midbass. H2 and xxx really suffer from lack of output above 55hz. H2 ported requires some SERIOUS eqing in the 40-50hz range, I had to pull around 15db from 40hz and around 8db from 50hz. Even after doing that it was alot louder than sealed, but just hope you have a good 1/3 octave EQ for it (this is assuming you are into SQ of course).

As for its powerhandling I've heard alot of people on Termpro say the H2's fry really easy above 2000w so be careful. I ran about 1500w to mine and it seemed okay but I wouldn't want to push it much more than that. But sealed mmmmmmm that sub is VERY VERY nice sounding sealed. I'd say 1.5-1.8 cubes net. needs ALOT of power to get loud sealed but i love the sound. Does have some nice efficient VERY low end though.

if you can get the same port area as you would need with a slot port out of an aeroport, the aeroport is FAR superior. Its just they aren't easy to install in alot of enclosures due to enclosure shapes (depth) and because they are expensive. For more efficient than slot ports, and way better than your average round port.

H2's are finicky. ONLY IN THE RIGHT ENCLOSURE WILL THEY SOUND PERFECT!
