just installed my 220 iraggi alt

id definately get it sorted ' the battery light' or you might find your electrical components start to fry pretty soon? its prolly not a problem but why chance it?

Maybe you have the same thing I do.

With my DMM, on the battery I have 14.8 with lights off, 14.7-14.8 with lights on, and about 14.5-14.7 with heavy bass and lights on.

However, on my head unit, the numbers are 14.5, 14.0, 13.7-13.9 respectively.

Maybe you might be seeing 14.53 on your battery, but back wherever your battery check light is, its seeing a different voltage?

Had a similar problem with my alt. Its a problem in the alts. harness more than likely.

that light is coming not because of the battery, but because the car thinks the battery "isnt charging". There should be a "voltage sense" wire coming off the alternators harness. either its not hooked up or its not working properly.

Nothing bad should happen, just the car thinks the battery isnt charging. I rode around like that for a few weeks, and nothing went wrong....finally took a look under the hood, and the wire was disconnected.

I would definatly call Dom, and tell him your issues.

lol dayum iraggi.....14.53 is a ****in crazy voltage ...i wish i went over 14 v
Almost 14.8 with the headlights, A/C, and the stereo (volume set to 20 of 35) isn't too bad either.

This isn't an Iraggi, and EA, or a Mean Green, either.

This was a rebuild by a local shop in my alty's stock, lil bitty case. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

thanks ill check the plug again... nothing is wrong with voltage or car killing just this stupid light annoying me.. ill call dom to see whats up with this .

talked to dom, he said that the alternator is putting more voltage than the factory alternator or the L function on the regulator is bad... still talking to him on what to do...

He sent papers along with the alt. telling exactly what to do before and after install right? Also with a page that tells the target readings of what the voltage should be at different parts of your electrical. Did you make sure your battery was reading in the target area before you installed the alt. like he tells you to in the papers. I'm sure you'll get it figured out if your talking to him about it already. I was just wondering, cause i just got my alt. from him and I'm about to install it tomorrow.
