just installed my 220 iraggi alt

some cars only run at 13.8 volts. does it have a built in voltage regulator? or does it use the car's regulator? are you measuring this while playing music? have you done the big 3 yet?
I havent done the big 3 yet but im gonna do it in a little bit.. i dk about the voltage regulator have to ask iraggi... im checking it on the dmm with no music just the car running..

It is not a problem. As long as you are above 13v you are perfectly fine, that is the normal range. As you accelerate, the alternator should put out more and the voltage should rise.

But no, you are not supposed to be at 14.4v.

well im just going by what my old 65 amp alternator was doing on the dmm... but why is the battery light on?
Ah, didn't even see the battery light part...

Have you driven the vehicle since you installed the new alternator? If not, you might have drained the battery a bit while working with the door open, or something like that. Maybe it just needs a good charge..

The battery light should only come on when the battery is below the 12v region, are you positive you hooked everything up correctly?

yes everything is hooked up correctly.. car drives fine starts first crank no problems what so ever. i charged the batt all last night still the stupid batt light....
