you're battery is fine. imo i think you are fine, however i can't explain why the battery lite is coming on. talk to irraggi about it

Your new alt. Are you using the stock plug or just a one wire hook up that is going to a switched 12v?

its the stock plug thats on it. dom from iraggi never gave me no plugs to install...

Just wondering cause my alt does the same thing. But mine was a custom 300amp and it did not accept the stock plug. I had to run a wire to switched 12v

About your voltage at idle.

Bring your rpms up to 1000 and see if your voltage goes up alittle.

My guess would be that the computer in your car regulates the voltage and A wire on the alt is eather crossed or not getting a good connection

cant be crossed because there is only 1 way the plug goes on... im gonna check the connections right now...

just did the big 3 the voltage went up to 14.53 but the battery light is still on...
