It's not news that any Kicker subs fail to impress. They aren't bad, but there are many, many better ones out there.

It was semi loud in the higher frequencies.
2 15's sealed 800 rms for the pair

I was not impressed. The lows were not there. Offcourse i am used to super sub bass... xxx, mx, ect

but the low end was just not there. SQ was decent, nothing special.... Dont waste your money on em

If you think that the MT and XXX are GOOD sounding subs, then you need to hear a real SQ system. Don't get me wrong, the XXX does sound good when set up correctly but there is way better out there in terms of SQ...

Considering the CVR isn't targeted towards the "audiophile", I fail to see why you are surprised by this ?
It's intent is solid bass with adequate sound quality for street beaters on a budget.

Exactly what I was thinking. It costs ~ $100, what do you expect?
