Just finished install and...

I just realized the port is 2.25" wide instead of 2.5" for what it's worth. Oh yeah and theres no silicon on the speaker wire holes yet but the speaker wire barely fits through the hole; it's a tight fit.

box :15h 30w 15d

port:13.5x 2.5 x 42 @37.5 hz

port walls cut list: 12d x 23w x 7w

face: 25.25x13.5

sides: 14.5x13.5

rear: 30x13.5

bottom/top: 30x15

there is nothing wrong with the box as long as you built it properly.

subs were out of phase... had the neg in the pos terminal on one sub

and you hear the boom boom comin' out my trunk //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif:veryhapp://content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/satan.gif.9c6a335ed7aeeed3ee273e573f1fcaac.gif:evil://content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/satan.gif.9c6a335ed7aeeed3ee273e573f1fcaac.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif

Is there any way to distinguish between clipping and bottoming out or the combination of the two?

It sounds like they are bottoming (when standing outside with trunk open; you can't hear it from the drivers seat) but I find that kinda surprising seeing the power some people run to SA's. I'm only dipping to the 12's on music (80 amp alt and lead acid battery) and don't have an ocillioscope. I haven't set my gains with a test tone or anything... need to get some blank cd's.

oh yeah the fuse to the battery is only a 60 amp and hasn't blown.

he didnt. the box was designed by me and the port was supposed to be 2.5 he did 2.25 so he is tuned 3hz lower IIRC
