materials: 3/4 polyply birch, welded angle iron supports and braces, titebond 2, drywall screws, blood and sweat, no tears.

the plan: 4.11^3 before displacement, 3.65^3 after displacement tuned to 35hz.

equipment: mt10 and mm2000.1 as mentioned.

think it's too big? i couldn't find too many other people with mt's, and i dont have any specs from RE, trying to estimate what i think it needs.

Just because it's an MT doesn't mean it needs over twice what a 'normal' ten would use.

I've heard from a few people the MT's like smallish boxes anyway. My 12 is in an average size box, 2.5 cubes.

I agree...or even smaller with that power.

1.5-1.7 seems like a good size. 2 cubes is more then enough for the 12" driver...

1.2-1.7cubes NET for 10's is what I go by...

scratch that, i am just going to put 45's in all the corners and reinforce it from the inside with 1 cube and a half of mdf.

that'll give me ~2 cubes, and actually drop my tuning to 31hz if i dont change my lengths.

sounds like a winner.
