2 jbl 12wgti's in a 4.5 cube dual slot vented enclosure. 1 jbl power series 2200.1 briged/parellel sub amp runnin at 1.5 ohm at 2350 rms. and a jbl power series 300.4 on infinty seps in the front and rear. alpine 9831 as source unit with monster x301 interconnects, 2 gauge power wire coming from the optima yellow top to my 2 farad tsunami digi cap and a 160 amp alt. nothing too spectacular.

Last I checked, to be an MECP master installer, you dont need to know how to make a setup sound good, and apparently you fall under that category. Being a good installer is, IMO, totally seperate from your "title", it is a calling that takes alot of experience to master, all you seem to know how to do is make equipment make noise and run your mouth.

Yeah, those amps have been known to do more at higher loads.

Certified master installer and you can't get JL subs to sound impressive? So who took your MECP test for you?

As for what makes JL subs so excellent, well, there are different factors:

1) sound good(to great, depending on model)

2) Are readily available through their dealers(no waiting for months)

3) RELIABILITY

4) Name brand recognition(which may mean something for resale purposes)

5) Good customer service

6) Good engineering

Your post would have made the slightest bit of sense if you had just said, "blah blah blah, I don't want to use JL because they are mainstream." I mean, that sounds stupid but not nearly as stupid as the drivel you have put forth in this thread.
