1. How does the sound quality compare to head units in the same price range?

2. Does it have sets of preouts for amplifiers and if so how many?

3. Where can you buy them all i found was woofersetc.com and ebay anywhere else?

The cleansweep basically cleans up the signal and eq's the music to flat. If you want to have better control over your music you'd need to add an eq.

I believe the cleansweep comes with 2 sets of preouts and an aux.

There's a few other online stores that have them but I can't think of them at the moment and tweeter also has it for $300.

1. It is not a head unit; it is more like an advanced line out converter for people who's factory radio has a volume dependent EQ and/or crossed-over speaker outputs. It can remove the volume dependent EQ from the equation and sum the crosssed-over speaker outputs into full range pre-outs. I have never heard one myself but people who have tell me they are bloody great.

2. Yes, they have rca outputs. I do not know how many. You can read all about them on JLaudio.com and even download the owner's manual.

3. I have no clue where you can buy them online.
