JL Build! Need some tips.

why are you going with JL?

because they make good products? they are just expensive

Like a dealer in town told me, people will hate on JL only because they can't afford it and think that it is overpriced. That dealer doesn't even carry JL and they have mad respect for anyone who runs with them. I don't even play my sub for but maybe an hour a month total anyways. Keep in mind this is a show quality truck and brands mean everything at shows.

if your referring to the soundstream that is in his avy that is far from walmart stuff. infact they make a lot of products that are up to par if not exceed what jl does.

And brands do not mean anything at shows. If that were the case people wouldnt buy audiobahn

im guessing your budget is around 2 grand?
For amps get

jl 500/1

jl 300/2

forget about the midbass idea and put that money toward better components for your doors. Get the c5 or zr comps instead

As for subs try to get a single w6 instead
