i just bought 2 12w1v2 and they sound pertty good i was thinking about buying another one would 3 sound better im going to put them ina 96 cavalier with a total mobile audio 500.1 on them.

As long as you've got the room to properly enclose three 12s and your amplifier will satisfactorily power them (never heard of Total Mobile Audio...) then I can't see a reason in the world why not to //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Pretty decent amplifiers. They are owned by JL Audio.

You need to consider if you will have enough space for three of those subwoofers. Also you need think about what imepedance subwoofers you have. If you purchased two 4ohm 12w1's, then it won't work since that amplifier is only 2ohm stable. You would need to have the 8ohm version of those subwoofers in order to power three of them from that amplifier (for a final load of 2.667ohm).

And then with that final 2.667ohm load, you'd receive about 375w out of that amplifier, giving each sub ~125w RMS. Which they should do pretty nicely off of.
